Recycling plant
At the Recycled Mijas plant there are 2 large areas, the area of recovery of waste from the activities construction and demolition y the plant waste treatment area (recycling of waste) .
RCDs recovery area
Concrete line
Along these lines, those wastes originating only from concrete waste is recovered and treated obtaining different recycled aggregates.
RCDs line
This line is intended for the recovery and recycling of all those mixed construction and demolition waste.
Concrete line
Concrete macadam
With discontinuous granulometry and a sandy-type top dressing, coming from concrete waste and which is used for the construction of paths, agricultural roads, firm and pavements.
Artificial concrete gravel
Continuous granulometry between 0 and 32 mm, used as a layer base of pavements, pavements and for concrete not structural.
Concrete gravels
Used as trench fill and drainage.
Concrete sand
Granulometry less than 1 mm, obtained from screening of concrete waste and that is used for filling soils, for mortars, roads, pipeline coverage, etc.
RCDs line
Macadam by RCDs
A coarse aggregate made up of different sizes from construction and demolition waste, which is used mainly to build roads.
Natural gravel from RCDs
Continuous granulometry between 0 and 32 mm used for fillings, rural roads and granular layers for pavements.
RCDs gravels
Used as trench fill and as drainage.
RCD Arena
Granulometry less than 1 mm, obtained from screening of RCDs.
Plant waste treatment area
In Reciclados Mijas S.L. we have a collection service for plant remains. The treatment to be given to the waste vegetables will depend directly on the purpose that is going to be given to these residues.
In Reciclados Mijas S.L, the vegetable remains are first crushed, and they are subsequently eliminated all the residues that may contain.
This crushed material will follow two different lines depending on of the use to which they are intended.
Use as biomass
Reciclados Mijas S.L delivers the crushed plant materials to authorized managers for the use of these as biomass, and for both a large percentage of plant waste is destined for biomass.
Composting materials
The rest of the crushed materials are destined to a process of composting, which lasts about 6 months, carrying out a exhaustive control of the different parameters to achieve the right conditions and obtain a quality compost.
Once composted, the compost is screened to obtain a ideal granulometry for use as a fertilizer.
The main agricultural applications as organic amendment for the compost soil are: Grove plantation, seedbeds, planters, in fruit and vegetable orchards, and in intensive crops to avoid depletion. In gardening, used for growing plants, in nurseries, transplants of pots and pots, planting planters, top dressing of grass in gardening and golf courses.
It is used alone or mixed with sand, peat or topsoil, for its properties as a soil conditioner or amendment. To the mixing with natural soils increases the ability to retain moisture, retard erosion, and improve tillage, being used to invigorate compacted soils and increase the crop productivity.
